Day 2: From Milan to Bologna, 255 km - 160 miles (Hotel included, morning motorcycle pickup)
Today we head towards Bologna, one of the most fascinating and historically rich cities in Italy. Known as "The Learned" for its ancient university, dating back to 1088, Bologna is a true treasure trove of culture, art, and gastronomic traditions. Strolling through its centuries-old porticos, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site, you’ll find yourself immersed in a lively atmosphere that blends modernity and tradition in a perfect harmony.
Bologna’s historic center, with its picturesque squares and medieval towers, invites you to stop and explore. The city is also the capital of Italian gastronomy, famous worldwide for its specialties such as mortadella, tortellini, and ragù alla bolognese.
