MotoGP of Jerez plus Spain and Portugal

Day 1: Arrival in Malaga, hometown of the famous artist Pablo Picasso and where we will stay with our Hotel. We will visit the city center, and, in the evening, we will have our welcome dinner in order to know all the participants and discuss about our journey that is going to get started.

Day 2: We will get our motorbike and will go direction west, along the Mediterranean Sea coast enjoying breathless views. We will then get to Gibraltar which is an English enclave in Spanish territory. From there we will see Morocco coast. We will keep going up to Jerez de la Frontera, where the famous homonymous wine is produced. We will see displayed around, the barrels for wine conservation, that are typical of this town.

Day 3: We will arrive to the racing circuit to see the MotoGp qualifying sessions. For sure we will be surprised seeing the huge number of motorbikes parked in front of the circuit.  

Day 4: It’s MotoGp Day. We will see the race and feel excited with the roaring engines, the motorbikes speed and the great pilots’ ability that will make us spend a pure fun day! We will surely get back to the hotel excited by this experience.

Day 5: From Jerez we will start our itinerary that will take us to Seville, the town on Guadalquivir river, famous for the Flamenco and the Corrida at Plaza de Toros. Once passed the river, we’ll start the path to Palos, the port from which Columbus sailed to discover the Indies that resulted to be the American Continent, just a small mistake due to geographical inexperience.

Day 6: We will be on the Atlantic Ocean; the steep cliffs will accompany us along the itinerary. We will so arrive in Sagres, where a beautiful castle is with a breathless view on the blue waters beneath. We will continue towards North up to the Capital of Portugal, Lisbon where will spend the night.

Day 7: This day will be dedicated to the town, very interesting and lovely, full of ups and downs. The bridges on Tago river are impressive and we will admire all this beauty from the touristic bus that will take us discovering the most interesting city spots.

Day 8: From Lisbon we will get to Cabode Roca, the most western part of the European Continent where we will take a lot of photos to capture the event. We will go direction East, towards Spain and we will stop in Evora, where is located the famous cathedral with a lot of human bones in the internal walls. It’s a bit morbid but a short visit it is certainly worth. We shall see the   Park of the old Dolmens, witnesses of primitive ceremonies. Here we will see large expanses of cork trees; which barks are used to get for wine plugs. We will get to Bajadoz in the late afternoon where we will spend the night.

Day 9: We will get up early in order to early be in Cordova. The itinerary is very nice, but we will drive non-stop in order to dedicate more time to the town discovery. We will visit the city center, the Roman bridge, the Mosque transformed into a church but that maintain the typical Muslim drawings, definitely very interesting.

Day 10: From Cordova we will get to Antequera, a Unesco Heritage town, where we will absolutely visit the city center, the surroundings where The Dolmen of Menga and Viera are. We will go back on track in order to reach Granada, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.

Day 11: This day will be dedicated to the town visit and, above all, to visit the famous Alhambra, astonishing building, heritage of the Arab during their dominion, many centuries back. We need to book the tickets well in advance as they are limited, and the request is very high.

Day 12: The only thing to do is to go back to our starting point, Malaga. If the weather is good, we will climb The Sierra Nevada where there is the highest point of Spanish road network. We will get to our hotel after giving back the motorbikes. In the evening we will have our farewell dinner and we all wave our travel mates.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 8

If the minimum number of participants isn’t reached, the tour may be cancelled or run with a different format.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

• Motorcycle rental with bags and locks. (A security deposit from 1.250 to 2.000 depending on the motorcycle requested).
• The bike rental prices include costs for public-liability insurance and roadside assistance insurance in case of breakdown.
• Welcome and farewell dinners.
• Accommodation in 4-star hotels when available at the time of booking.
• Transfer to and from the airport.
• Multilingual tour leader.
• Transfer to and from the rental agency.
• Support van. The van will carry a replacement motorcycle available for participants in case of problems or breakdowns. You will be able to use the van for carrying suitcases (1 suitcase + 1 handbag per person),an extended service also for all the souvenirs you will buy along the way. The van also has two seats for passengers in case of need or for rest of the motorcycle trip!
• A detailed road book with all the information and a map with the itinerary well marked.
• Insurance covering most any medical issue during the trip including, doctors, ambulance, hospital and any appropriate family travel.

IS NOT INCLUDED:

• Fuel for your motorcycle.
• Tolls on motorways.
• Entrance tickets to museums or other touristic sites.
• Tips and gratuities
• All meals except welcome and farewell dinners.
• All beverages.
• National and international flights
• We also suggest that anyone traveling abroad for one of our tours consider purchasing "travel insurance". It can eliminate worry from unexpected situations that can arise in any travel plan.

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

• Advanced payment of 30% of the total amount of the tour to be paid at the moment of the reservation (The deposit will be completely refundable in the event that we do not reach the minimum number of participants or in an agreed manner between the parties, if the tour will be made in modality different with different services).
• Balance 70% to be paid 30 days before the departure date subject to confirmation by our organization.
• 100% balance if the reservation is made within 30 days before departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Up to 20 days before the start date, HP Motorrad will retain 80% of the total tour.
• From the 20th day to the 11th day before the start date, Hp Motorrad will retain 90% of the total tour.
• From the 10th day before the start date, HP Motorrad will retain the total amount of the tour.
