PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival in Milan (Hotel included)

The journey begins in Milan, the capital of fashion and design, but also a perfect starting point to immerse yourself in the heart of Italy’s gastronomic culture. Milan is famous for its cosmopolitan cuisine, as well as traditional dishes such as risotto alla milanese and ossobuco. Before setting off, you might enjoy an aperitif with a glass of Franciacorta, a classic-method sparkling wine from Lombardy.

Day 2:From Milan to Barolo, 140 km – 90 miles (Hotel included, morning motorcycle pickup)

The journey from Milan to Barolo, in the heart of the Langhe, will take you through breathtaking landscapes of hills covered with vineyards. Barolo is one of the most famous wine regions in Piedmont, known for its namesake Barolo wine, a robust and structured red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to visit some historic wineries and taste typical Piedmontese dishes such as tajarin (extremely thin egg pasta) and brasato al Barolo (braised beef in Barolo wine).

Day 3: From Barolo to Valtellina, 200 km – 125 miles (Hotel included)

From Barolo to Valtellina, a journey that will take you north, passing through the mountains of Lombardy. Valtellina is renowned for its Sforzato di Valtellina, a passito red wine made from dried grapes that best expresses the character of the alpine territory. In this region, you can enjoy typical dishes such as pizzoccheri (buckwheat pasta with potatoes, cheese, and cabbage) and bresaola, a dry-cured salami typical of these valleys.

Day 4:From Valtellina to Valpolicella, 220 km – 140 miles (Hotel included)

Through the Alps, the journey will take you from Valtellina to Valpolicella, one of the most famous wine regions in Veneto. Here, the undisputed star is Amarone della Valpolicella, a full-bodied and rich wine made through the drying of grapes, offering notes of dried fruit and spices. Pair the Amarone with typical dishes such as Amarone risotto or tigelle, small flatbreads typical of the area.

Day 5:From Valpolicella to Trento, 120 km – 75 miles (Hotel included)

The journey from Valpolicella to Trento will take you through the beautiful Vallagarina, a valley surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Trento is famous for its Trentodoc, classic-method sparkling wines that pair perfectly with dishes such as canederli (bread dumplings) and polenta. The city is also the heart of a gastronomic tradition that blends Italian and Tyrolean influences.

Day 6: From Trento to Valdobbiadene, 100 km – 62 miles (Hotel included)

From Trento to Prosecco, the journey will take you towards the famous Prosecco production area, the sparkling white wine that has taken the world by storm. The Valdobbiadene region is known for its terraced vineyards and breathtaking landscapes. Here, you can taste Prosecco Superiore DOCG paired with fresh dishes such as cicchetti (small Venetian tapas) and mixed fried fish.

Day 7:From Valdobbiadene to Bologna, 160 km – 100 miles (Hotel included)

The journey from Valdobbiadene to Bologna takes you to the heart of Emilia-Romagna, a region renowned for its rich and flavorful cuisine. Bologna is the home of tortellini and ragù alla bolognese. Be sure to also savor a glass of Sangiovese or Lambrusco, typical wines that pair perfectly with the local specialties. The streets of Bologna are a triumph of flavors!

Day 8: From Bologna to Milan, 220 km - 140 miles (Hotel included, afternoon motorcycle drop-off)

The return to Milan will take you along the Via Emilia, a historic road connecting the gastronomic capital of Bologna to the Lombard metropolis. In Emilia-Romagna, you can still savor cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano and cured meats like culatello di Zibello, paired with a glass of Lambrusco.
